KS Food Tasting

Last Saturday, OWLoon's parents invited my parents and I to join them for their food tasting in Kuala Selangor (KS)... There was a total of 8 dishes... forgot to snap a picture of the shark's fin soup... but here's a snapshot of the rest of it...

Several observations from the session...

• Suckling pig is not popular and is often replaced with a dish that has sea cucumber and braised pork knuckles served with bread and a bowl of herbal chicken soup...
• Seafood is of utmost importance... nearly every dish has prawn or fish or scallop or sea cucumber in it...
• The food portion is super large... hence the last entry is in the form of cone ice-creams that guests can take home...(by the 3rd dish... I was already very full...)
• Food tasting is FREE!!!

Totally different from what is practiced here in KL... Nevertheless, OWLoon and I made sure we ate a bit of every single dish cos we're certain we'll be busy... on actual day... hehehe...
